How to Arrange Sydney Airport Transport for 10 to 16 Passengers
By Prestige Chauffeurs · Updated 12 September 2026
Everything you need to organise a chauffeured Sydney Airport transfer for a group of ten to sixteen people, from passenger and luggage numbers to terminals, flight details and coordination.

One vehicle for the whole group
A group of ten to sixteen people does not need to split across several cars for the airport. The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter seats up to sixteen in 11, 13 and 16-seat configurations, with a high-roof, walk-in cabin and generous luggage space, so the whole group and their bags travel together in a single chauffeured vehicle.
Booking one vehicle rather than three or four makes the pickup, the timing and the flight monitoring far simpler, which is exactly what you want when a larger group is on the move.
What to tell us when you book
The more detail you give us up front, the smoother the transfer. To arrange a group airport run we ask for a short list of essentials:
- The number of passengers, so we set the right seating layout.
- The number and size of bags, including any oversized items such as golf clubs or skis.
- The pickup address or the arrival terminal, domestic or international.
- The flight number and time, so we can monitor it.
- The destination, or destinations if the group is dropping at more than one address.
- Any child seats needed, with the ages of the children.
Terminals and flight details
Sydney Airport has separate domestic and international terminals, and we confirm which one you need at booking. For arrivals we monitor your flight in real time and adjust the pickup for delays or early landings, then meet the group inside the terminal with help for the luggage.
Complimentary airport waiting is 20 minutes for domestic arrivals and 1 hour 10 minutes for international arrivals, which covers immigration and baggage for a larger group.
Luggage and child seats
Luggage is often the deciding factor for a big group, so it helps to be generous with your estimate. The Sprinter carries a substantial amount, but if the group is travelling with a lot of checked bags or bulky items, tell us so we can confirm the right configuration or arrange a second vehicle.
Baby capsules, child seats and boosters are available for a small additional charge. Let us know the ages of any children when you book so the correct seats are fitted before pickup.
Coordinating a smooth pickup
For a group of this size, a single, agreed meeting point makes all the difference. We nominate where the chauffeur will meet you, keep in contact on the day, and hold the group together from the kerb to the destination.
For an early or international departure we recommend confirming the pickup the day before, and building in sensible time, since Sydney traffic varies by time of day.
Frequently asked questions
Can you transport 16 passengers from Sydney Airport in one vehicle?
Yes. The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter seats up to sixteen passengers with generous luggage capacity, so a group of that size travels together in a single chauffeured vehicle.
What details do you need to arrange a group airport transfer?
We need your passenger numbers, luggage, pickup or arrival terminal, flight number and time, destination, and any child-seat requirements. Share these when you request a quote.
Do you provide child seats for a group transfer?
Yes. Baby capsules, child seats and boosters are available for a small additional charge. Tell us the ages of the children when you book.
What if we have more luggage than usual?
Tell us at booking. The Sprinter carries a substantial amount, and for very heavy loads we can confirm the right configuration or arrange a second vehicle.
How far ahead should we book a large group transfer?
As early as you can, particularly for busy travel dates. For early or international flights we recommend confirming the pickup the day before.
